NRN Colorado honors various organizations and individuals

In a grand ceremony, NRN Colorado Chapter honored individuals and organizations with tokens of appreciation who, through a variety of means, have contributed to the development of the Nepali community.

Consultants, social workers, journalists, donors, volunteer artists, businessmen, and association officials are among those who were honored in this manner. Tokens of appreciation were presented to each of the honorees by the organization’s president, RC Pant, and treasurer, Deepak Sunuwar.

More than 200,000 dollars were collected and distributed during this time for various Nepali community events and programs, in collaboration with several local organizations. Multiple issues the community was facing were settled after working with local government, state governor, and congressman were shown in the 19th-month tenure video.

President Pant said that the chapter’s income and expenses are always made public in the program. Anyone who wants to see the report can go to the chapter’s Facebook page.

In the end, President Pant addressed all the participants’ questions and stated that the chapter’s tenure moves forward with everyone’s support and cooperation. He said he was grateful to all those who had helped the organization, either directly or indirectly, to make it this far. He said that more help and ideas were needed in the future.

Secretary Shankar Gurung led the program, which was presided by chapter president RC Pant and held at Broomfield Public Library, Broomfield, Colorado.
