A three-member election committee has been established to elect a new executive committee for the upcoming tenure of Rocky Mountain Friends of Nepal(RMFN).
The organization’s executive committee recommended forming an election committee unanimously with three members. Kumar Jung Karki and Anjuli Sharma are two members, coordinated by DR. Sharda Kafle Tripathi.
The current executive committee’s term will end on April 15th (Nepali New Year). The election committee has been established to hold the election by the end of March and was authorized to conduct a free and fair election. The organization also confirmed that the election process should be completed by end of the March and to name officers and board members.
RMFN has 140 life members and 40 ordinary members. Chairman Paudel indicated that the organization is open to new members.
