RISE Colorado and Bhutanese community in the state of Colorado organized and workshop about Parent Opportunity Gap on last Saturday. Parents learned about educational inequity and the ways how to overcome the obstacles for their children while making transition to college.
They also learned about the opportunity gap that exists in our public education system. The workshop was all about teaching the importance of education to children and parents and their involvement. It was held at 1532 Galena st. Aurora CO 80010 ( Mango House)
